Carol Goolsby

A San Antonio native, and resident of McAllen, has been an educator for 25 years, the last 15 at nature parks both in Australia and South Texas, developing environmental education curricula.

Her expertise is in helping organizations maximize the impact of their education efforts by transforming lessons from passive or auditory, to a goal-oriented, interactive, hands-on, highly visual and creative curriculum.

She is committed to combating the "nature deficit disorder" syndrome plaguing today's youth, and ensuring that whatever valuable time Fishing's Future can hook children and parents to spend together in nature, has maximum, long-term good impact.

Carol currently works as an environmental educator at Rancho El Charco in La Joya.
