Henry has a background rich in various outdoor experiences. When Henry was a child his father would take him fishing which fostered his passion for the outdoors. Fishing and picnics made for some of the best family outings. One of his fondest memories is catching white bass on spoons with his father.
The core of his fishing has been in freshwater lakes in South Dakota and surf fishing here in the state of Texas. Henry’s passion for fishing the Galveston area began in 1997.Summer time frequently translates to the outdoors for his family. They spend most of their off time at the coast fishing for speckled trout and enjoying time at the beach.
Currently Henry teaches math at The Woodlands High School. TWHS is well known for being one of the top schools in the United States academically and in athletics. He has been a sponsor of the Christian Student Union for thirteen years. In total Henry has taught for fifteen years in the Conroe Independent School District. Henry’s desire is to pass on the sport of fishing to the families of North Houston.
Throughout the school year he hears students reminiscing about childhood memories of the outdoors. Fishing’s Future can rekindle that passion. His goal is to pass on the joy of fishing to your family and an attitude of conservation with our fishery resources.
